KidSport enables eligible Western Australian children aged 5 to 18 years to participate in community sport by offering them financial assistance of up to $500 per financial year towards club fees.
To be eligible to receive KidSport, children must be listed on a valid Western Australian Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card with a corresponding customer reference number (CRN).

To be an eligible KidSport club, a club needs to deliver a recognised sport and be either a community sport club, incorporated organisation, business, school or Parents and Citizens Association that meet the mandatory criteria.
The department has the final authority for determining if a club meets the mandatory criteria.
